When one goes for a Safety Manager role, would not the criteria ask at least for these expertises: 1) Must be able to manage safety (SMS) 2) Provide the leadership, structure, resources to improve safety and engagement. 3) Demonstrate agility, leadership and stakeholder management capabilities and influencing skills. etc etc. So why so many having to go and learn these things? Safety Cynic - Is there any self managing courses...I think I need to go learn about that.
